== History ==
During the [Russian Empire](/source/Russian_Empire), the village of Horadiz was part of the [Jebrail Uyezd](/source/Jebrail_Uyezd) of [Elisabethpol Governorate](/source/Elisabethpol_Governorate). Horadiz was designated as an [urban-type settlement](/source/urban-type_settlement) on 24 September 1947.<ref>{{cite book |title=Азербайджанская ССР. During the [First Nagorno-Karabakh War](/source/First_Nagorno-Karabakh_War), the village was the scene of fierce fighting. == Economy and culture ==
