In 1996 she won her first medal which was [silver](/source/silver_medal) for her participation in [wheelchair tennis](/source/wheelchair_tennis) at [Paralympic Games](/source/Paralympic_Games), [Atlanta](/source/Atlanta), [Georgia](/source/Georgia_(U.S._state)). Four years, in [Sydney](/source/Sydney), [Australia](/source/Australia) she became [quarterfinalist](/source/quarterfinalist) in the same sport.
