# Holt Persinger

**Holt Persinger** is an American politician from the [Georgia Republican Party](/source/Georgia_Republican_Party) who serves as a member of the [Georgia House of Representatives](/source/Georgia_House_of_Representatives) representing [District 119](/source/Georgia's_119th_House_of_Representatives_district).[1] In 2023 he was elected to the Georgia House of Representatives in a special election to replace [Danny Rampey](/source/Danny_Rampey) who was elected in [November 2022](/source/2022_Georgia_House_of_Representatives_election). Rampey withdrew prior to being seated, after being arrested for stealing prescription narcotics.[2]
