Hiroko Okada was born in 1970 in [Tokyo](/source/Tokyo), Japan.<ref name=":0" /> She attended [Tama Art University](/source/Tama_Art_University), where she graduated in with a [BA](/source/Bachelor_of_Arts) degree in painting (1993).<ref name=":0" />
