The **Higher School of Social Security** ([Arabic](/source/Arabic_language): المدرسة العليا للضمان الإجتماعي) is an [Algerian](/source/Algeria) [Grande école](/source/Grande_%C3%A9cole) founded in 2012[1] and located in [Ben Aknoun](/source/Ben_Aknoun), [Algiers](/source/Algiers).[2]

The [Grande école](/source/Grande_%C3%A9cole) was established by [Decree](/source/Decree) No. 12-158 issued on 1 April 2012.[3]

It is the only international [Grande école](/source/Grande_%C3%A9cole) in [Africa](/source/Africa) specializing in social security, through an agreement between the Government of [the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria](/source/Algeria) and the [International Labor Organization](/source/International_Labour_Organization) signed in [Geneva](/source/Geneva) 2013 ,and ratified by [Presidential Decree](/source/Decree) No. 14-173 on 2 June 2014.[4]
