'''High Stones''', at {{convert|548|m|ft|0}}, is the highest point within the boundaries of both the [City of Sheffield](/source/City_of_Sheffield) and [South Yorkshire](/source/South_Yorkshire), England.<ref name=Bathurst_2012/>

High Stones lies on the Howden Moors towards in the northern [Peak District National Park](/source/Peak_District), between [Langsett Reservoir](/source/Langsett_Reservoir) to the north-east and [Howden Reservoir](/source/Howden_Reservoir) to the south-west. The area is managed by the [National Trust](/source/National_Trust_for_Places_of_Historic_Interest_or_Natural_Beauty), as part of the Nether Hey area of their [High Peak Estate](/source/High_Peak_Estate).

High Stones is about {{convert|1|mi|km|1}} south of [Margery Hill](/source/Margery_Hill) which, at 546m, is the highest marked point within Sheffield. High Stones is only shown on 1:25,000 scale maps and larger.

The cairn at High Stones is at the marked {{convert|548|m|ft|0}} point; being something over two feet tall means that the top of the cairn is just over 1800&nbsp;ft above sea level.
