# High Rock Range

The **High Rock Range** is a [mountain range](/source/Mountain_range) of the [Canadian Rockies](/source/Canadian_Rockies) in southwestern [Alberta](/source/Alberta) and southeastern [British Columbia](/source/British_Columbia), Canada.

It is a part of the Southern [Continental Ranges](/source/Continental_Ranges) and is located on the [Continental Divide](/source/Continental_Divide_of_the_Americas), north of the [Crowsnest Pass](/source/Crowsnest_Pass) and south of the [Highwood Pass](/source/Highwood_Pass).[1] It lies partly within [Kananaskis Country](/source/Kananaskis_Country).

The [Misty Range](/source/Misty_Range) and the [Greenhills Range](/source/Greenhills_Range) are subdivisions of the High Rock.

The High Rock Range covers a surface area of 2,172 km2 (838 mi2), has a length of 117 km (73 mi) (from north to south) and a width of 37 km (23 mi).[2]
