# High Life Music

**High Life Music** (full name **Les Disques HLM High Life Music**) is a [Montreal](/source/Montreal) based independent [record label](/source/Record_label) created in 2002 by [Da Vincy](/source/Da_Vincy_(rapper)) of [Vice Verset](/source/Vice_Verset), specialising in [urban music](/source/Urban_music). Its artists have been nominated by Association québécoise de líndustrie du disque ([ADISQ](/source/ADISQ))[1] in 2006 and 2007 for the Quebec hip-hop album of the year. Some of the music has also been reviewed on [CBC Radio](/source/CBC_Radio).[2]

This label is listed as a cultural business by the Quebec provincial agency [SODEC](/source/Soci%C3%A9t%C3%A9_de_d%C3%A9veloppement_des_entreprises_culturelles).[3]
