# Hermillon

**Hermillon** ([Savoyard](/source/Savoyard_dialect): *Armèlyon*)[2] is a former [commune](/source/Communes_of_France) in the [Savoie](/source/Savoie) [department](/source/Departments_of_France) in the [Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes](/source/Auvergne-Rh%C3%B4ne-Alpes) [region](/source/Regions_of_France) in south-eastern [France](/source/France). On 1 January 2019, it was merged into the new commune [La Tour-en-Maurienne](/source/La_Tour-en-Maurienne).[3]
