The '''Hepburn Library of Colton''', also known as the '''Colton-Hepburn Library''', is a historic [library](/source/library) building located at [Colton](/source/Colton_(CDP)%2C_New_York), [St. Lawrence County, New York](/source/St._Lawrence_County%2C_New_York).  It was designed by architect [Ehrick Rossiter](/source/Ehrick_Rossiter) and built in 1912-1913  It is a one-story, cruciform plan, stone building with a hipped roof topped by a multi-staged wood [cupola](/source/cupola).  It sits on a raised basement and features an entrance [portico](/source/portico) with four unfluted [Ionic order](/source/Ionic_order) columns.  The building design reflects a combination of [Arts and Crafts](/source/Arts_and_Crafts_movement) and [Colonial Revival](/source/Colonial_Revival_architecture) style architecture.  Funding for the library was provided by [A.
