'''Henricus Loos''' served as the fifteenth [Archbishop of Utrecht](/source/Old_Catholic_Church_of_the_Netherlands) from 1858 to 1873. Together with Bishop Hermann Heykamp of [Deventer](/source/Deventer), Loos is known as one of the bishops whose orders were recognized by the [Roman Catholic Church](/source/Roman_Catholic_Church), but who were not invited to the [First Vatican Council](/source/First_Vatican_Council) because they were considered [schism](/source/schism)atic. Loos served as [Archbishop of Utrecht](/source/Old_Catholic_Church_of_the_Netherlands) during the first two Old Catholic Congresses in [Munich](/source/Munich) in 1871 and in [Cologne](/source/Cologne) in 1872.
