***Hello, Peter!*** (Hungarian: ***Szervusz Péter!***) is a 1939 Hungarian [comedy film](/source/Comedy_film) directed by [Sándor Szlatinay](/source/S%C3%A1ndor_Szlatinay) and starring [Antal Páger](/source/Antal_P%C3%A1ger_(actor)), [Erzsi Simor](/source/Erzsi_Simor) and [Sándor Pethes](/source/S%C3%A1ndor_Pethes).[1][2] The film's sets were designed by the [art director](/source/Art_director) [József Simoncsics](/source/J%C3%B3zsef_Simoncsics). It was based on a play by [Károly Nóti](/source/K%C3%A1roly_N%C3%B3ti), and was later remade as the 1951 West German film *[Czardas of Hearts](/source/Czardas_of_Hearts)*, also directed by Szlatinay.

## Synopsis

Endre, an [electrical engineer](/source/Electrical_engineer), is mistaken for the celebrity Péter who asks him to swap roles for a while.
