# Hellmuth Hauser

**Hellmuth Hauser** (24 February 1916 – 5 September 2004) was a German general in the [Bundeswehr](/source/Bundeswehr). During [World War II](/source/World_War_II), he served in the [Luftwaffe](/source/Luftwaffe) and was a recipient of the [Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross](/source/Knight's_Cross_of_the_Iron_Cross) of [Nazi Germany](/source/Nazi_Germany).
