# Helge Orten

**Helge Orten** (born 25 October 1966) is a Norwegian politician for the [Conservative Party](/source/Conservative_Party_(Norway)).

He was elected to the [Storting](/source/Storting) from [Møre og Romsdal](/source/M%C3%B8re_og_Romsdal_(Storting_constituency)) in 2013 where he was a member of the [Standing Committee on Transport and Communications](/source/Standing_Committee_on_Transport_and_Communications) from 2013 to 2017 and chair of the same committee from 2017 to 2021. He was a member of the [Standing Committee on Finance and Economic Affairs](/source/Standing_Committee_on_Finance_and_Economic_Affairs) from 2021 to 2025.[1]

He was re-elected to the Storting in [2017](/source/2017_Norwegian_parliamentary_election) and [2021](/source/2021_Norwegian_parliamentary_election), but did not seek re-election in [2025](/source/2025_Norwegian_parliamentary_election).[2]
