**Harry Belden** is an American actor. He has voiced [Morty Smith](/source/Morty_Smith) and [Evil Morty](/source/Evil_Morty) in the [Adult Swim](/source/Adult_Swim) animated television series *[Rick and Morty](/source/Rick_and_Morty)* since season 7.

## Early life

Belden was born and raised in [Chicago, Illinois](/source/Chicago,_Illinois).[1] He attended the [University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign](/source/University_of_Illinois_Urbana-Champaign) and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting in 2017.[2]

## Career

Belden began his career in 2017, working on various projects in Chicago including theater, commercials, and voice over.[1] In 2023, he was cast as the voice of [Morty Smith](/source/Morty_Smith) in the animated series *[Rick and Morty](/source/Rick_and_Morty)* following the dismissal of Morty's original voice actor [Justin Roiland](/source/Justin_Roiland), beginning in the show's seventh season.[3]
