The '''Harrisonian North American Stage''' on the [geologic timescale](/source/geologic_timescale) is the North American  [faunal stage](/source/faunal_stage) according to the [North American Land Mammal Ages](/source/North_American_Land_Mammal_Ages) chronology (NALMA), typically set from 24,800,000 to 20,600,000 years [BP](/source/Before_Present), a period of {{Mya|24.8-20.6|million years}}.<ref>[https://paleodb.org/cgi-bin/bridge.pl?action=displayInterval&interval_no=285 Paleobiology Database, Harrisonian]</ref> It is usually considered to overlap the [Chattian](/source/Chattian) and [Aquitanian](/source/Aquitanian_age) stages within the late [Paleogene](/source/Paleogene). The Harrisonian is preceded by the [Monroecreekian](/source/Monroecreekian) and followed by the [Hemingfordian](/source/Hemingfordian) NALMA stage.
