'''Sir Harold Hood, 2nd Baronet''' (23 January 1916 – 5 September 2005) was the son of [Sir Joseph Hood](/source/Sir_Joseph_Hood%2C_1st_Baronet). Just before his fifteenth birthday in 1931, he succeeded to the baronetcy on his father's death. He married Ferelith Rosemary Florence Kenworthy, daughter of [Joseph Kenworthy, 10th Baron Strabolgi](/source/Joseph_Kenworthy%2C_10th_Baron_Strabolgi).<ref>{{Cite book |url=https://books.google.com/books?id=yHoxsxvm0iUC&q=Ferelith+Rosemary+Florence+Kenworthy%C2%A0 |title=Who's who |date=1975 |publisher=A. & C. He was involved with many charities including the Bourne Trust and the [Prison Advice and Care Trust](/source/Prison_Advice_and_Care_Trust). Hood was a [Knight of Malta](/source/Knights_Hospitaller) and a [Knight Grand Cross of the Order of St. Gregory the Great](/source/Order_of_St._Gregory_the_Great).

He died aged 89 and the heir to the Baronetcy was his son John Hood.

He is buried in the central roundel of [Brompton Cemetery](/source/Brompton_Cemetery) in [London](/source/London) towards the south-west.
