# Harold Falls

**Harold Francis Falls** (November 25, 1909 in [Winchester, Indiana](/source/Winchester,_Indiana) – May 27, 2006 in [Brighton, Michigan](/source/Brighton,_Michigan)) was an American [ophthalmologist](/source/Ophthalmologist) and [geneticist](/source/Geneticist). He helped found one of the first genetics clinic in US. The [Nettleship-Falls syndrome](/source/Nettleship-Falls_syndrome), the most common type of [ocular albinism](/source/Ocular_albinism), is named after him and English ophthalmologist [Edward Nettleship](/source/Edward_Nettleship).
