# Harold Busher

**Harold Aston Busher** (2 August 1876 – 3 October 1954) was an English [cricketer](/source/Cricket). Busher was a right-handed [batsman](/source/Batsman_(cricket)). He was born in [Birmingham](/source/Birmingham).

Busher made a single [first-class](/source/First-class_cricket) appearance for [Warwickshire](/source/Warwickshire_County_Cricket_Club) against [Gloucestershire](/source/Gloucestershire_County_Cricket_Club) at [Edgbaston](/source/Edgbaston_Cricket_Ground) in the [1908 County Championship](/source/1908_County_Championship).[1] Gloucestershire made 165 in their first-innings, in response Warwickshire made 229 in their first-innings, with Busher being dismissed for 15 runs by [Edward Dennett](/source/Edward_Dennett). Gloucestershire made 328 in their second-innings, leaving Warwickshire a target of 265 to win. Warwickshire could only manage to make 204 all out, with Busher ending the innings [unbeaten](/source/Not_out) on 0.[2] This was his only major appearance for Warwickshire.

He played for [Suffolk](/source/Suffolk_County_Cricket_Club) in the 1913 and 1914 [Minor Counties Championship](/source/Minor_Counties_Championship), making six appearances.[3] He died in [McMahons Point](/source/McMahons_Point), [Sydney](/source/Sydney), Australia on 3 October 1954. His brother, [Sydney](/source/Sydney_Busher), also played first-class cricket.
