***Harleya*** is a [genus](/source/Genus) of [Mesoamerican](/source/Mesoamerican) flowering plants in the family [Asteraceae](/source/Asteraceae).[1][2]

The genus is named for Prof. [Harley Harris Bartlett](http://plants.jstor.org/stable/10.5555/al.ap.person.bm000000470), 1886–1960.[1]

**Species[3]**

There is only one known species, ***Harleya oxylepis***, native to [Belize](/source/Belize), [Tabasco](/source/Tabasco), and the [Yucatán Peninsula](/source/Yucat%C3%A1n_Peninsula).[4]
