'''Haritan''' ({{langx|ar|حريتان|Ḥuraytān}}, also spelled '''Huraytan''' or '''Hreitan''') is a town in northern [Syria](/source/Syria), administratively part of the [Mount Simeon District](/source/Mount_Simeon_District) of the [Aleppo Governorate](/source/Aleppo_Governorate), just northwest of [Aleppo](/source/Aleppo). Nearby localities include [Ratyan](/source/Ratyan), [Bayanoun](/source/Bayanoun) and [Mayer](/source/Mayer%2C_Syria) to the north, [Anadan](/source/Anadan), [Yaqid al-Adas](/source/Yaqid_al-Adas) to the west, [Kafr Hamrah](/source/Kafr_Hamrah) to the south and [Shaykh Najjar](/source/Shaykh_Najjar) to the east.
