# Harisan

**Harisan** (Persian: هريسان)[a] is a village in, and the capital of, [Qareh Chay Rural District](/source/Qareh_Chay_Rural_District) of the [Central District](/source/Central_District_(Saveh_County)) of [Saveh County](/source/Saveh_County), [Markazi](/source/Markazi_province) province, [Iran](/source/Iran).[1]

## Demographics

### Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 686 in 168 households.[2] The following census in 2011 counted 703 people in 189 households.[3] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 677 people in 205 households.[4]
