**Hans Wassermann** (born 1 September 1953) is a former international [speedway rider](/source/Motorcycle_speedway) from West Germany.[1] He earned 15 international caps for the [West German national speedway team](/source/West_German_national_speedway_team).[2]

## Speedway career

Wassermann won a bronze medal at the [Speedway World Pairs Championship](/source/Speedway_World_Pairs_Championship) in the [1977 Speedway World Pairs Championship](/source/1977_Speedway_World_Pairs_Championship).[3] He has also reached the final of the [Individual Speedway Long Track World Championship](/source/Individual_Speedway_Long_Track_World_Championship) on three occasions in 1975, 1976 and 1977.[4]

He rode in the [top tier](/source/List_of_United_Kingdom_speedway_league_champions) of British Speedway from 1977 to 1978, riding for [Reading Racers](/source/Reading_Racers).[5][6][1]
