**Hando**, also known as *Antu Ghebir*, *Hàmda* and *Hānda Desēt*, is an island of the [Southern Red Sea Region](/source/Southern_Red_Sea_Region) of [Eritrea](/source/Eritrea).

## Geography

Hando is a coastal island located facing the [Bay of Anfile](/source/Bay_of_Anfile) of the [Red Sea](/source/Red_Sea). Smaller [Keda Hando](https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Keda_Hando&action=edit&redlink=1) lies close to its larger neighbour off its southern shore.[2]
