**Hanae Kan** (韓 英恵, *Kan Hanae*; born November 7, 1990)[1] is a South Korean[2] actress based in Japan. Kan made her film debut in 2001 in *[Pistol Opera](/source/Pistol_Opera)*. She has also starred in *[Nobody Knows](/source/Nobody_Knows_(2004_film))*, *Dead Run*, *Memo*, and *Asia no Junshin*.[1]

## Early life

Kan was born in [Shizuoka Prefecture](/source/Shizuoka_Prefecture), [Japan](/source/Japan) to a Korean father and a Japanese mother.[2] Her father is a Korean immigrant, while her mother is a second-generation Korean-Japanese.[2] She is fluent in Japanese and Korean.[3]
