# Han Min-soo

**Han Min-soo**[1][2] (, born 24 March 1963) is a South Korean [athlete](/source/Sport_of_athletics). He competed in the [men's shot put](/source/Athletics_at_the_1988_Summer_Olympics_%E2%80%93_Men's_shot_put) at the [1988 Summer Olympics](/source/1988_Summer_Olympics).[3]

Two weeks before the 14th South Korean Athletics Championships, Han broke the [South Korean record](/source/South_Korean_records_in_athletics) in the shot put by throwing 16.11 m to best the previous mark of 15.53 m. At the national championships, he broke his own record with a 16.29 m throw.[4]
