**Hamzah Idris Falatah** ([Arabic](/source/Arabic_language): حَمْزَة إِدْرِيس فَلَاتَة, born 8 October 1972) is a Saudi Arabian former [footballer](/source/Association_football). He played as a [striker](/source/Forward_(association_football)#Striker) for [Ohud](/source/Ohud_Medina) from 1992 to 1995 and then for [Al Ittihad](/source/Al-Ittihad_(Jeddah)) until he retired in 2007.

For [Saudi Arabia national team](/source/Saudi_Arabia_national_football_team), Falatah participated in the [1994 FIFA World Cup](/source/1994_FIFA_World_Cup), [1996 Summer Olympics](/source/1996_Summer_Olympics)[2] and the 1999 [FIFA Confederations Cup](/source/FIFA_Confederations_Cup).[3]

He held the national record for most goals scored in one season at 33 goals for the 1999–2000 season. This record was superseded in 2018–2019 season, when [Abderrazak Hamdallah](/source/Abderrazak_Hamdallah) scored 34 goals .

Falatah is currently an assistant coach for Al-Ittihad, He was number 9 for [Al-Ittihad](/source/Al-Ittihad_(Jeddah)).
