He was awarded the [Walter Hopps](/source/Walter_Hopps) Award for Curatorial Achievement by the [Menil Collection](/source/Menil_Collection). 

He was part of the force behind the notable Monuments exhibit put on by the Brick and the [Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles](/source/Museum_of_Contemporary_Art%2C_Los_Angeles) in 2026.
