==Biography==
Halfdan E was born in [Copenhagen](/source/Copenhagen), [Denmark](/source/Denmark).  After stints as a session [bass](/source/Bass_guitar) player in many different [rock](/source/Rock_music) bands in the 1980s and early 1990s, followed by a degree from the Academy of Music in Copenhagen, Halfdan E collaborated with Danish poet [Dan Turèll](/source/Dan_Tur%C3%A8ll) on the crossover project "Pas På Pengene", resulting in two CD recordings, which both won [Danish Grammy award](/source/Danish_Music_Awards)s.<ref>{{Cite web |title=Halfdan E |url=https://filmmusic.dk/?side=komponist&composer_id=108 |access-date=2024-08-19 |website=filmmusic.dk}}</ref> He continued to [compose](/source/composer) for film and television, working with [film director](/source/film_director)s such as [Per Fly](/source/Per_Fly) and [Hans Petter Moland](/source/Hans_Petter_Moland), and to work as a pop and rock [producer](/source/Record_producer). He wrote the score for Per Fly's TV-series ''Forestillinger''.
