# Hager, Oregon

**Hager** is an [unincorporated community](/source/Unincorporated_area) in [Klamath County](/source/Klamath_County,_Oregon), [Oregon](/source/Oregon), United States.[1] It is between [Klamath Falls](/source/Klamath_Falls,_Oregon) and [Olene](/source/Olene,_Oregon) along [Oregon Route 39](/source/Oregon_Route_39) and [Oregon Route 140](/source/Oregon_Route_140).[2]

Hager had a station on the [Oregon, California and Eastern Railway](/source/Oregon,_California_and_Eastern_Railway), which by 1927 reached from [Klamath Falls](/source/Klamath_Falls,_Oregon) to [Bly](/source/Bly,_Oregon).[3] A 1941 timetable lists Hager as the second stop east of Klamath Falls between it and [Pine Grove](/source/Pine_Grove,_Klamath_County,_Oregon).[4] After 1990, the rail line passing through Hager became part of a [rail trail](/source/Rail_trail), the [OC&E Woods Line State Trail](/source/OC%26E_Woods_Line_State_Trail), managed by the [Oregon Parks and Recreation Department](/source/Oregon_Parks_and_Recreation_Department).[3]
