**Hafravatn** (Icelandic pronunciation: [\[ˈhavraˌvahtn̥\]](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Help:IPA/Icelandic)) is a small lake on the eastern outskirts of [Reykjavík](/source/Reykjav%C3%ADk), [Iceland](/source/Iceland). Located at 76 m above sea level, it has an area of 1.08 km2 (0.42 sq mi) with a greatest depth of 28 m (92 ft).[2] The [Seljadalsá River](https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Seljadals%C3%A1_River&action=edit&redlink=1) flows into it from the east and its discharge is [Úlfarsá](https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=%C3%9Alfars%C3%A1&action=edit&redlink=1) (into Korpúlfsstaðaá, also known as Ulfarsfellsa).[1][3] A small village lies on the northern bank of the lake and a [paragliding](/source/Paragliding) take-off point on its eastern side. The smaller lake of [Langavatn](https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Langavatn&action=edit&redlink=1) lies to its southwest.
