**HD 82943 c** is an [extrasolar planet](/source/Extrasolar_planet) approximately 89 [light-years](/source/Light-year) away in the [constellation](/source/Constellation) of [Hydra](/source/Hydra_(constellation)). The planet was announced in 2001 to be orbiting the [yellow dwarf](/source/Yellow_dwarf_star) [star](/source/Star) [HD 82943](/source/HD_82943).[1] The planet is the innermost planet of two.[2]
