**Karl Gustaf Wilhelm Dyrsch** (28 August 1890 – 7 May 1974) was a [Swedish Army](/source/Swedish_Army) officer and [horse rider](/source/Equestrianism) who competed in the [1920 Summer Olympics](/source/1920_Summer_Olympics).[1] He and his horse *Salamis* were part of the Swedish team that [won the gold medal](/source/Equestrian_at_the_1920_Summer_Olympics_%E2%80%93_Individual_eventing) in [eventing](/source/Eventing). However, Dyrsch did not receive a medal as he failed to complete his individual routine.[2][3]

Dyrsch was a career military officer holding the rank of lieutenant colonel in 1947.[4]
