# Gun River

The **Gun River** is a 15.1-mile (24.3-kilometre)[1] tributary of the [Kalamazoo River](/source/Kalamazoo_River) in [Michigan](/source/Michigan), in the [United States](/source/United_States). It begins at the outlet of [Gun Lake](/source/Gun_Lake_(Michigan)) at the border between [Allegan](/source/Allegan_County,_Michigan) and [Barry](/source/Barry_County,_Michigan) counties and flows southwest through Allegan County to its mouth at the Kalamazoo River just east of [Otsego](/source/Otsego,_Michigan).
