The **Grinderwald** is a [mixed forest](/source/Mixed_forest) and a low hill range, up to ,[1] in [Hanover Region](/source/Hanover_Region) and the [Lower Saxon](/source/Lower_Saxony) district of [Nienburg/Weser](/source/Landkreis_Nienburg/Weser) in [Germany](/source/Germany).

## Geology

The Grinderwald is an [Old Drift](/source/Old_Drift) plateau that was formed from deposits of boulders and debris during the [Ice Age](/source/Last_Glacial_Period).
