**Grevinge** is a small [railway town](/source/Railway_town) in [Odsherred Municipality](/source/Odsherred_Municipality) on the island of [Zealand](/source/Zealand), [Denmark](/source/Denmark). It is located c. 20 kilometres (12 mi) northwest of the town of [Holbæk](/source/Holb%C3%A6k). As of 1 January 2025, Grevinge has a population of 596.[1]

The [romanesque](/source/Romanesque_architecture) Grevinge Church is located in the town. The Danish [Post-Impressionist](/source/Post-Impressionist) painter and poet [Sigurd Swane](/source/Sigurd_Swane), one of the [Odsherred Painters](/source/Odsherred_Painters), lived for many years in the farm house [Malergården](/source/Malerg%C3%A5rden) in the hamlet of Plejerup, not far from Grevinge. In 2004 the house and grounds were established as a museum.[2]
