# Greg Mescall

**Greg Mescall** (born December 20, 1981) is a [sports broadcaster](/source/Sports_broadcaster) and host covering a variety of sports for different networks. 2018 marked Mescall's second [Olympic Games](/source/Olympic_Games)[1] for [Westwood One Sports](/source/Westwood_One)/[NBC Radio](/source/NBC_Radio_Network)[2] where he covered freestyle ski and snowboard including [Shaun White](/source/Shaun_White)'s return to the podium. Currently calling [Manhattan College men's basketball](/source/Manhattan_Jaspers_and_Lady_Jaspers), Mescall has also worked for [ESPN](/source/ESPN), [Pac-12 Network](/source/Pac-12_Network),[3] [Olympic Channel](/source/Olympic_Channel_(American_TV_channel)), [Big Ten Network](/source/Big_Ten_Network), [ESPNU](/source/ESPNU), [Fox Sports West](/source/Bally_Sports_West), [Fox Sports](/source/Fox_Sports_(United_States)) and [USA Water Polo](/source/USA_Water_Polo),[4] and has done play-by-play for the [Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference](/source/Metro_Atlantic_Athletic_Conference), [IVY League](/source/Ivy_League) on [ESPN+](/source/ESPN%2B) and Monmouth University's ESPN digital broadcasts.

## Personal

A native of [Leonardo, New Jersey](/source/Leonardo,_New_Jersey), Mescall earned his B.A. in communication, Radio and Television from [Monmouth University](/source/Monmouth_University), and an M.S. in education from [Wagner College](/source/Wagner_College).[5]
