# Greg Mellott

**Greg Mellott** is best known for winning an [Emmy](/source/Emmy) for the 2008 [documentary](/source/Documentary) *Dream No Little Dream* on the life of [Robert S. Kerr](/source/Robert_S._Kerr), which he [wrote](/source/Screenplay) and [directed](/source/Film_director).

Mellott also wrote and directed *The Grand Energy Transition*, a documentary on the [book](/source/Book) of the same name written by Robert Hefner III, which covers [energy](/source/Energy), [natural gas](/source/Natural_gas), and his life story. Mellott works alongside [Jackie Chan](/source/Jackie_Chan) and David Chan, [producer](/source/Film_producer) of *[Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles](/source/Teenage_Mutant_Ninja_Turtles)*.[1] Mellott produced the 2016 internationally televised film *[Behind the Water](/source/Behind_the_Water)* with activist [Fraser Kershaw](/source/Fraser_kershaw).[2]
