He played [college baseball](/source/College_baseball) at [St. Bonaventure](/source/St._Bonaventure_Bonnies_baseball) from 1995 to 1998.

## Playing career

Mamula grew up in [DuBois, Pennsylvania](/source/DuBois%2C_Pennsylvania), where he attended DuBois Area Senior High School. Mamula would go on to play [college baseball](/source/College_baseball) for the [St. Bonaventure Bonnies](/source/St._Bonaventure_Bonnies_baseball).

## Coaching career

In June 2022, Mamula was named the head coach of the [Delaware Fightin' Blue Hens](/source/Delaware_Fightin'_Blue_Hens_baseball).[1]
