# Greg Gilday

**Gregory L. Gilday** (born 1977)[1] is an American attorney, businessman, and politician formerly serving as a member of the [Washington House of Representatives](/source/Washington_House_of_Representatives) from the [10th district](/source/Washington's_10th_legislative_district). He was elected in November 2020 and assumed office on January 11, 2021.[2]

## Background

Gilday was born in [Stanwood, Washington](/source/Stanwood,_Washington).[citation needed] He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from [Western Washington University](/source/Western_Washington_University), a [Master of Business Administration](/source/Master_of_Business_Administration) from [Seattle University](/source/Seattle_University), and a [Juris Doctor](/source/Juris_Doctor) from the [Seattle University School of Law](/source/Seattle_University_School_of_Law).[3] Prior to entering office, Gilday worked as an attorney and real estate broker. Gilday lives on [Camano Island](/source/Camano_Island) with his wife and two sons.[4]
