# Graticula

***Graticula***, formerly incorrectly named *[Craticula](/source/Craticula)*,[1] is a genus of Palaeozoic [coralline alga](/source/Coralline_alga).[2] They form the framework of reef rocks in the [Silurian](/source/Silurian) of [Gotland](/source/Gotland), from the Högklint, Slite and Halla groups.[3]

The Graticulaceae closely resemble the Cretaceous [Solenoporaceae](/source/Solenoporaceae), and are only really differentiated by their stratigraphic position.[2]
