# Graham Skinner

[Air Vice Marshal](/source/Air_Vice_Marshal) **Graham Skinner**, (born 1945) is a retired [Royal Air Force](/source/Royal_Air_Force) officer.

## RAF career

Educated at [Hampton School](/source/Hampton_School), the [University of Bristol](/source/University_of_Bristol) and [Loughborough University](/source/Loughborough_University), Skinner joined the [Royal Air Force](/source/Royal_Air_Force) in 1963.[1] He served at [Strike Command](/source/RAF_Strike_Command) during the [Gulf War](/source/Gulf_War) and went on to be Director of Logistics Policy and then Director of in-service support for the [Tornado](/source/Panavia_Tornado) and [Typhoon](/source/Eurofighter_Typhoon) programmes before becoming Commander-in-Chief of [Logistics Command](/source/RAF_Logistics_Command) in September 1999.[1] He left the post in October 1999 on the disbandment of the command.[2] In retirement he became Clerk of the [Worshipful Company of Engineers](/source/Worshipful_Company_of_Engineers).[3]

## Family

In 1969 Skinner married Margaret; they have a son and a daughter.[1]
