The **Grace Rocks** ([66°25′S 100°33′E](https://geohack.toolforge.org/geohack.php?params=66_25_S_100_33_E)) are prominent rock outcrops situated at the south side of the mouth of [Apfel Glacier](/source/Apfel_Glacier) at its junction with [Scott Glacier](/source/Scott_Glacier_(East_Antarctica)), [Antarctica](/source/Antarctica). They were mapped from air photos taken by U.S. Navy [Operation Highjump](/source/Operation_Highjump), 1946–47, and named by the [Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names](/source/Advisory_Committee_on_Antarctic_Names) for Lieutenant Philip J. Grace, [U.S. Navy](/source/U.S._Navy), a pilot with U.S. Navy [Operation Windmill](/source/Operation_Windmill), 1947–48, who assisted in operations which resulted in the establishment of astronomical control stations from [Wilhelm II Coast](/source/Wilhelm_II_Coast) to [Budd Coast](/source/Budd_Coast).[1]
