# Got Event

**Got Event [AB](/source/Aktiebolag)** is a company owned by the [City of Gothenburg](/source/Gothenburg_Municipality) ([sv](/source/Swedish_language): *Göteborgs Stad*) that manages events at the city's sports venues. Got Event was formed when the company Fritid Göteborg was reorganized and split in 1999 to Got Event AB, [Park- och naturförvaltningen](/source/Park-_och_naturf%C3%B6rvaltningen), and [Idrotts- och föreningsförvaltningen](/source/Idrotts-_och_f%C3%B6reningsf%C3%B6rvaltningen).

Got Event is responsible for events at [Gamla Ullevi](/source/Gamla_Ullevi) Stadium, [Ullevi Stadium](/source/Ullevi_Stadium), [Scandinavium](/source/Scandinavium) indoor sports and event arena, [Valhalla Swimming Hall](/source/Valhalla_Swimming_Hall), [Lisebergshallen](/source/Lisebergshallen) and [Valhalla Sporthallar](/source/Valhalla_Sporthallar) in Gothenburg. In 2007 Got Event held 340 events, that attracted 1.5 million visitors, and generated [SEK](/source/Swedish_krona) 120 million in [revenue](/source/Revenue)[1]
