**Gordon Derrick** (1968 – June 19, 2022) was an [Antiguan](/source/Antiguans_and_Barbudans) banker, football administrator, the director of the [Antigua Commercial Bank](/source/Bank_of_Antigua) between 2004–2015, and served as chairman of the board of directors of ACB Mortgage & Trust Ltd. from 2007–2016.[1]

## Biography

Derrick was born in the state of [Antigua and Barbuda](/source/Antigua_and_Barbuda), growing up in the neighbourhood of [Villa](/source/Villa%2C_St._John's), in St. John's, located in the [Caribbean](/source/Caribbean) in 1968.

Derrick holds an [MBA](/source/MBA) from the [University of the West Indies](/source/University_of_the_West_Indies) and [Bachelor of Science](/source/Bachelor_of_Science) degree in [mechanical engineering](/source/Mechanical_engineering) from the [Florida Institute of Technology](/source/Florida_Institute_of_Technology).

Derrick died on June 19, 2022, after collapsing in his home, with reports saying he raised concerns about feeling unwell the same day.[2] He was driven to the hospital but died shortly after.[3]

## Personal life

He grew up in the outskirts of [Villa, Saint John](/source/Villa%2C_Antigua_and_Barbuda). He was married and had two children.
