Goldriesling is typically characterised by [Muscat](/source/Muscat_(grape))-like aromas and high acidity, and ripens fairly early.
It has been used as a crossing partner for several other grape varieties including [Lucie Kuhlmann](/source/Lucie_Kuhlmann), [Léon Millot](/source/L%C3%A9on_Millot), [Marechal Joffre](/source/Marechal_Joffre) and [Maréchal Foch](/source/Marechal_Foch_(grape)).
