***Going Gay*** is a 1933 British [musical film](/source/Musical_film) directed by [Carmine Gallone](/source/Carmine_Gallone) and starring [Arthur Riscoe](/source/Arthur_Riscoe), [Naunton Wayne](/source/Naunton_Wayne) and [Magda Schneider](/source/Magda_Schneider).[1] It was made at [British and Dominion's Elstree Studios](/source/British_and_Dominions_Imperial_Studios).[2] It was followed by a sequel *[For Love of You](/source/For_Love_of_You)*, also released the same year.[3]

## Plot

English friends in Vienna are rivals in love for a lady singer, but both unite in their attempts to make her a star of the opera.
