# Globalisation Is Good

***Globalisation Is Good*** is a 2003 [documentary film](/source/Documentary_film) written and presented by [Johan Norberg](/source/Johan_Norberg) and produced by [Freeform Productions](/source/Freeform_Productions) for British [Channel 4](/source/Channel_4). The film, directed by [Charlotte Metcalf](/source/Charlotte_Metcalf), is based on Norberg's much celebrated book *[In Defense of Global Capitalism](/source/In_Defense_of_Global_Capitalism)* (published in 2001) that shows his view of the impact of [globalisation](/source/Globalisation), and the consequences of its absence. In the film, Norberg travels to countries like [Taiwan](/source/Republic_of_China), Vietnam and Kenya promoting ideas of [global capitalism](/source/Global_capitalism) and attempting to prove why he feels protestors entering the [anti-globalisation movement](/source/Anti-globalisation_movement) are ignorant and dangerously wrong.

The film was released on [DVD](/source/DVD) in November 2006 by the Swedish [think tank](/source/Think_tank) [Timbro](/source/Timbro).
