# Glessner Bridge

The **Glessner Bridge** is a historic [covered bridge](/source/Covered_bridge) in [Stonycreek Township](/source/Stonycreek_Township,_Somerset_County,_Pennsylvania), [Somerset County, Pennsylvania](/source/Somerset_County,_Pennsylvania). It was built in 1881, and is a 90-foot (27-metre), multiple [Kingpost truss](/source/King_post) bridge, with half-height plank siding and a tin covered gable roof. The bridge crosses [Stonycreek River](/source/Stonycreek_River). It is one of ten covered bridges in Somerset County.[2]

It was added to the [National Register of Historic Places](/source/National_Register_of_Historic_Places) in 1980.[1]
