The river **Glems** (German pronunciation: [\[ɡlɛms\]](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Help:IPA/Standard_German)) is a right tributary of the river [Enz](/source/Enz) in [Baden-Württemberg](/source/Baden-W%C3%BCrttemberg), [Germany](/source/Germany). It is around 47 km (29 mi) long. The spring is located in the south-west of [Stuttgart](/source/Stuttgart). On the way to the confluence into the Enz next to [Unterriexingen](/source/Unterriexingen) (a quarter of [Markgröningen](/source/Markgr%C3%B6ningen)) it passes the [districts](/source/Districts_of_Germany) of [Böblingen](/source/B%C3%B6blingen_(district)) and [Ludwigsburg](/source/Ludwigsburg_(district)).

The river Glems gives its name to a wooded mountain range called [Glemswald](https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Glemswald&action=edit&redlink=1) in the *Böblingen district* of [Stuttgart Region](/source/Stuttgart_Region).

Since 1575, water from the upper Glems is collected in the [Pfaffensee](https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Pfaffensee&action=edit&redlink=1) reservoir and redirected towards Stuttgart through a tunnel. First it was discharged in the [Nesenbach](/source/Nesenbach), since 1874 into municipal [waterworks](/source/Waterworks).
